In Athens over 1600 people gathered in the Megaron concert Hall for a night full of sounds and images entitled “A tale of music”. The main performance was by the En Chordais cultural act who were awarded in 2008 with the Prize “France Musique des Musiques Du Monde” during the Babel Med Festival in Marseille. The event, organized by the Greek Ministry of Culture, the Hellenic Foundation for Culture and the Anna Lindh Foundation, presented music from Istanbul, Tunis, Cairo, Beirut, Avignon, Granada and Venice. The overall event was broadcast by Greek National television.
