In preparation of the ‘1001 Actions’ campaign, you could begin planning an action or activity to take place in 2008. Actions could be small or large, could take place in more than one country or uniquely in your local community, could last one day or more.

Actions which receive the visibility label of ‘1001 Actions’ would:

• promote dialogue between people
• promote knowledge and respect for communities and groups other than your own
• be concrete and manageable
• involve members of the local community, preferably including those who have never participated in such activity
