Within the next weeks teachers and pupils of Staatliche Grundschule Erich-Kästner will work on some MDG’s and children’s rights."
1. Primary school education: What do you learn in school? Why some children are not able go to school? What other ways of learning exist? (learning through story-telling)
2. Children’s rights: What rights have children? What does the right on leisure and game mean? Which games do you play alone, which with friends? What games did your parents/your grandparents play?
3. Nutrition/Water: Which fruits and vegetables grow in Germany? Which fruits and vegetables from Africa can be bought in Germany? What can you find out about water (water circulation, water reserves, saving water,…)
4. Environment: What possibilities of saving nature are there? Are there any endangered species in Germany?
