A precious collaboration… at last we have our soundtrack !

Just outside Bologna there’s a whole green world made of trees and harvest-field… quite unbelievable… the place where Salvatore lives is 15 minuts far from the city center, but I could swear it was a billion kilometers!! Salvatore Sansone, the musician we knew at Naufragi festival, accepted to meet us and invited us at home. Delicious, cozy house, with fireplace burning in the middle of April…
Fabrizio has chosen Salvatore’s music due to the powerful energy transmitted by the accordion sounds, its great faculty to convey tradition and ethnicity… in the website www.diregelt.it Salvatore tells his story… at the beginning he wanted to learn playing the piano… but then he knew the accordion and felt in love with it. Twenty years ago he met Klezmer music and during all these years he kept playing it, trying to solve its deep mysteries… they are songs of love, weddings, lullabyes, work, protest,
and even the secular music is never far from the sacred.
