In summer 2008, a group of French, Romanian and Turkish young people travelled during 2 months in Romania and Turkey and made films about european identity. This project, called «Crossed glances over Europe», aims to collect and carry diverse point of views about Europe, and how young people lives in or next to Europe nowadays. From september to december 2008, a part of the team is working on the editing of the documentary films. The film about Romania will first be shown in Marseille on 15th November. In 2009, the films are meant to be shown in diverse places (schools, universities, non-profit organizations...). We will organize debates and propose an exhibition with photos and articles about the journey. All these activities aim to carry an original point of view about Romania, a new member of the European Union, and Turkey, a candidate to the entry in the EU. We wish to promote intercultural dialogue, debate about Europe and european identity.
