The Youth forum Ashdod-Israel is an association created by youth and youth workers,mostly volunteers.Our aim is to develop educational projects about youth, intercultural understanding, peace and tolerance.We believe in the power of youth to change the world for a better place to live in ,and working for it ,in and out the country.Our main work is to prevent social exclusion and youth in danger . We are member of a huge network of euromed youth organisations working together againts racism,xenophobia and violence.We also believe that only by mutual meetings between youth, peace can be in our region.

theme "gran father traditions" to show how was life in the parents country, the diversity of way of life and the richness of the heritage they left to younger generation. a lot of events will be concluded by a big night under the title "gran father heritage-to share with all"

-100 powerpoint presentations on "my gran father's roots" made by youth in their own families,a big event to present it in an exhibition, workshops about roots and heritage from 15 different countries and regions,a big event"dialogue and music"-workshops on the theme and ethnic bands playing their music at the end of the night
