Matthias, a German volunteer, working on setting up the exhibit to be opened 22 May in the sumud peace house [1]

This is a project which involves Christian and Moslem Palestinians from Bethlehem, both women and youth. As the situation in Bethlehem and Palestine is very de- and oppressive under the present political and economic circumstances, AEI-Open Windows thought to have this project in which people ate encouraged to express stories and visuals (drawings especially) of hope, displayed through an exhibit opened on May 22.

This is a house estabslished by the Arab Educational Institute near the area of Rachel's Tomb. The Tomb, annexed to Israel though in the heart of Bethlehem city, is presently surrounded by a nine high meter Wall.
